Description

An absolutely bonkers vertical (aka "portrait") laptop stand designed for the 14" Dell Latitude 7410 laptop.

It keeps the laptop at eye level, resulting in a second screen whose position and height is comparable to the vertical side of a 27" monitor. A bit narrow, but pretty decent for documentation!

Fold the laptop in tablet mode, then insert vertically. The usb/HDMI/power ports are accessible from the bottom, which is the ideal orientation in this configuration (all cables flowing down).

Might fit other 2-in-1 laptops: maximal thickness when folded shouldn't exceed 21mm. Width is adjustable in 7mm increments using the supplied base retainer, starting from a minimum of 210mm and going onward.

Rock-solid and stable due to the extra-large base. And quite heavy too! There are ventilation grills on both sides (the images show an early prototype).

Requires a bed of at least 250mm on one side. This barely fits a MK3.
Supports are required for all parts except the retainer.

Once printed the top and bottom parts needs to be paired through the dovetail joint. It is intentionally tight, and needs to be hammered in using a light rubber hammer.
