Für meinen achtjährigen Sohn wollte ich lose rumfliegende Kabel auf dem Spielfeld vermeiden. Also konstruierte ich neben den Lift ein Batteriefach für vier AA Batterien.

Das Batteriefach hat exakt 73 mm Höhe. Zusammen mit den 12 mm Höhe des Lifts ergibt das 85 mm, was wiederum 8 normalen und einem halben Distanzstück (Höhenstein) entspricht. Somit kann auch eine transparente Ebene mit drei Säulen auf dem Batteriefach montiert werden.

Neben dem Motor, den ffleury empfiehlt, benötigt man noch einen Schiebeschalter, einen Batterieclip aus Kunststoff (nicht die billigen in Plastiktasche) und einen Batteriehalter für vier AA-Batterien mit entsprechendem Clip.

Den Motor gibt es überall. Verwendet wird ein Getriebemotor N20 für 6 Volt mit 30 U/min., bei AliExpress findet man diesen mit dem Suchbegriff: "motor 6v 30 rpm"

Batteriefach und Batteriedeckel können ohne Kleber montiert werden. Der Ring für das Waben-Puzzle sollte geklebt werden, ebenso der Motor Hub in die Spindel.

Bounc3D brachte mich auf die Idee, die Spindel mit einem 45° Winkel im Inneren zu versehen, um auf Stützstruktur zu verzichten (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4695870). Also konstruierte ich auch die 140mm Spindel neu. Sie hat nun oben ein Loch, in das man eine (bunte) Stahlkugel legen kann. Außerdem ist die untere Kante abgerundet, um die Unterseite etwas einfacher zu drucken.

For my eight-year-old son, I wanted to avoid loose cables flying around on the field. So I constructed a battery compartment for four AA batteries next to the lift.

The battery compartment is exactly 73 mm high. Together with the 12 mm height of the lift, this results in 85 mm, which in turn corresponds to 8 normal and half a spacer (height stone). This means that a transparent level with three columns can also be mounted on the battery compartment.

Battery compartment and battery cover can be assembled without glue. The ring for the honeycomb puzzle should be glued in place, as should the motor hub into the spindle.

Bounc3D gave me the idea to give the spindle a 45° angle inside to avoid supporting structure (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4695870). So I also redesigned the 140mm spindle. It now has a hole at the top where you can put a (colored) steel ball. Also, the bottom edge is rounded to make printing the bottom a little easier.
