Description
OVERALL SIZE: 71cm. x 20cm. x 15cm high.
The model in the photos was printed on my MakerBot Replicator+
Two copies of each part are required.
Most of the parts were printed with a layer height of 0.15mm. and 10% infill, but the Walkways and Suspensions were printed with a layer height of 0.10mm. and 100% infill.
No supports are needed if the parts are printed in the orientations shown, but rafts are helpful.
ASSEMBLY: The parts fit together logically, with slots where needed for correct positioning.
Start by gluing the Towers into the recesses in the Piers with Superglue, then glue the Walkways and Roadbridges into their slots, and glue the Roadbridges to each other to complete the central unit.
Next, glue the Roadways into the slots in the Piers, and glue the other ends into position in the Gatehouses. Finally glue the Suspensions to the sides of the Roadways and into their slots in the Towers and Gatehouses.
I strengthened the rather delicate finials at the tops of the Towers and Gatehouses by (very carefully) dribbling a little Superglue over them.
