Modular Arcade Fightstick Hitbox MixboxModular Arcade Fightstick Hitbox Mixbox - WHATEVERYOUWANTIT-box
Whateveryouwantit-box is a remix (or recreation rather) of cmanoncom's Arcade Fightstick, redesigned with customizability in mind. Unlike the soruce, it does not require plexiglass and is a fully 3D-printable case.
Features / Differences to original
- Button holes everywhere: more button holes on the sides of the case
- Left and Right shells connected together with M6 bolts and nuts (x6 for shell alone)
- Independant interchangable top covers:
- Sanwa JLF mount compatible cover for your japanese JLF action
- Korean lever compatible cover (bigger hole) for all your full collar desires (tested on 309MJ)
- Hitbox(-ish) style cover if touching shafts is not your thing ;)
- Mixbox style cover if you miss your WASD
- Noir(-ish) button layout, compatible with 30mm SANWA (knockoffs) buttons
- Leftie-friendly: just flip top cover over and put it on the other side!
- Endless possibilities to make your own top cover from included BLANK templates!
- Covers and 30-to-24mm Adapter for unused holes, if your function buttons happen to be 24mm
- Can be extended lengthwise with Housing extension
- Has optional adapting spacers for different types and feels of sticks
Additional things needed for assembly
- Total 14x M6 bolts 30-40mm length and nuts (if using Housing extension, 6 of those should be of different appropriate length)
- My bolts were 40mm in length, but you only need ~30mm for the base model
- My nuts (giggity) had rubber stoppers, but the usual ones will do fine too
- Alternatively you could find car interior plastic rivets and replace cover holding bolts with them (see pictures)
*Mine were restagraf 12326 *but anything of appropriate size will do!
