Real Shure SM58 cartridge mount for Model 55 Fatboy

This Thing allows you to place a cartridge/element from a Shure SM58 microphone into a Shure Model 55, 55A, 55B, 55C, 555, 556 or any other "Fatboy" Shure "Elvis microphone" body. If your Model 55 has an "HML" transformer and switch, you may have to remove those from the mic body for this Thing to fit.

There are videos and blogs on the web that explain how to harvest an SM58's (or any "Unishpere I" mic's) parts. My SM58 cartridge came from a wireless mic head, so it did not have a transformer with it. You can order new SM57/58 transformers from China on ebay for <$10 each, so that's what this design uses.
