WELL NOW ALL YOUR LIVES’ WORRIES (related to pen cups) ARE SOLVED! INTRODUCING THE FLIPPING PEN CUP. IT WORKS VERTICALLY, IT WORKS HORIZONTALLY, IT FLIPS FROM VERTICAL TO HORIZONTAL AND BACK AGAIN. NEVER BEFORE HAS FINDING THE RIGHT WRITING UTENSIL BEEN SO EASY!

I made this flipping pen cup in part for entry into the Pen Cup contest, and in part to clean up the “flipping” messy mix of writing utensils on my desk. I could not see a single pen in the forest of pens, pencils, and other items.
The idea behind this is so the whole pen cup can be flipped from vertical to horizontal where you can see the pens better. There are ramps designed at the bottom in each cell of the pen cup to engage the implement so it stay flat in the cell when laying horizontal.
The design works for (engages and keeps neat) Pens, Pencils, Highlighters, Letter Openers, Dry Erase Markers, Chalkboard Markers, Grease Pencils, Eraser Pens, Glue Sticks, Nose Hair Clippers, Sharpies, and any other implement between 4 and 20 mm in size. The smaller cells fit 4-14mm and the larger cells fit 7-20mm writing utensils.
Also added a little bit of theme appropriate artwork to the front of the pen cup to remind me keep some perspective. I further added a bunch of other variations that use less filament, print faster and will hopefully fill more people’s needs.
