Summary
Strap your Ratchet Straps with this Ratchet Strap – Strap Wrap!
Description
I am tired of the jumbled mess of ratchet straps in my car. It takes forever to untangle them, and even when I spend the time to neatly wind them up, they come apart over time and then work themselves into knots again (in fact there is a knot in the strap pictured from this).
This strap wrap will allow you to keep your ratchets organized and neat. The wrap stays on the ratchet strap so it does not get lost or misplaced.
Parts
24” of 1” strapping like this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KTVFR8Y
1” strap buckle like these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07W8GPBD1/
Assembly
After printing, take 24” of 1” strapping and feed it through one of the side holes, around the back of the strap wrap, and up through the other side hole. On one end of the strap sew on the female side of the buckle (the one with only one slot). On the other side of the strap, feed it through the male side of the buckle (with two slots) so the buckle will lock together. Sew a loop on the side of the strap past the male buckle (grab about 4”, twist one side and overlap) then sew together.
If you want to keep the strap wrap on the ratchet strap, now you can feed the ratchet strap (the part without the ratchet) though the top and bottom slots on the strap wrap. Feed it nearly all the way on so it will not get in the way when in use. Then wrap the strap around the strap wrap, close the buckle and pull the loop tight.
You do not have to keep the strap wrap on the ratchet strap. When you want to organize it, just wrap the ratchet strap around the strap wrap and then click the buckle closed and pull tight.

Joke of the Design
Just a quick original joke to celebrate the posting of this new design (it helps if you have low expectations):
