Summary

It has always been unclear to me what you could build with the Fischertechnik internal gear 35694 apart from planetary gears.
After I discovered that it is possible to make a crank with exactly 30mm radius with this thing, I designed this clamping adapter for it, which practically corresponds to a halved Z30, but cannot slip out, so it does not require any additional tinkering and fiddling that is necessary to hold a standard Z30 in place.
The additional holes should correspond to those of the standard Z30, but they are not automatically congruent; for assembly, you have to put axles through as a makeshift.

PLA may be too hard and brittle for this. PETG should also be fine (untested). I like to use the red ASA from extrudr because it matches the current "Fischertechnik red" quite well. It shows also less stringing than PETG and less warping than standard ABS.</p><p>Print orientation: I printed my copies in the orientation as shown in the cover photo, i.e. the part with the cogwheel flipped once compared to the orientation of the .STL file. This part then needs no support when printing.</p><p>The FreeCAD file will be delivered later, I still have to "clean it up", because it contains all kinds of "trial and error" leftovers.</p></div>
