Description
These are simple clips to attach garden hoop house fabric or plastic to 1/2" EMT conduit. Also, clamps to attach the fabric to a 2x4 raised garden bed. I've been using these on my raised garden bed for a few weeks and they've held up to tons of rain and wind. I highly suggest printing with PETG or ABS since these will be out in the elements. PLA might work, but I haven't tested it.
To make the actual hoops, you can simply bend 1/2" EMT conduit. I made a jig to bend them using some scrap wood, similar to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97efefttsTQ.
Pro Tip:
These are 2mm thick, so if you want to print them really fast and strong, swap out your nozzle for a 1mm nozzle and print in spiralize/vase mode. If using Cura, you can also print multiple spiralize prints at a time if you change the print sequence to "Print one at a time".
