Description

This is a project of a lunar rover model based on a Kubsat nanosatellite. In fact, this is a ready-made platform that you can use as a basis for your projects.

Initially, I used 210 rpm geared motors, but they turned out to be too revving, there was not enough torque. Therefore, they had to be replaced with others, at 18 rpm - http://alii.pub/6d0wah These engines have an encoder, but it is not used in this project. However, you can buy them if you have ideas how to use the encoders.

I made 4 wheel options:
V1 - These are the ones I used. They are more suitable for use in pairs, with double shaft gearmotors.
V2 - Differs from the first version in shorter lugs. They can be used with faster 20-30 rpm gearmotors.
V3 - These wheels are twice as wide, with long lugs. Designed for gearboxes with one shaft.
V4 - wide wheels with short lugs.

I used Swing 5300 batteries because they were on hand. They can be replaced with regular 18650.

The solar panel here is more decorative, simply because of its small size. But still, it can charge the battery, albeit with a small current.

For control, a wireless controller from PS2 is used. There may be problems with it, not all of them work normally with Arduino. Therefore, I recommend taking either a few pieces, in different stores. Or more expensive and high quality. You can also wait for the model of the second such lunar rover - there the control will be carried out using Arduino and standard radio control equipment.

Also, nothing prevents you from abandoning the arduino altogether, and assembling just a radio-controlled model. To do this, you need any three-cell battery, a pair of speed controllers for collector engines, and radio control equipment with a receiver.

Это проект модели лунохода на базе наноспутника типа Кубсат. По сути это готовая платформа, которую вы можете использовать как основу для своих проектов.

Изначально я использовал мотор-редукторы на 210 оборотов в минуту, но они оказались слишком оборотистыми, крутящего момента сильно не хватало. Потому пришлось их заменить на другие, на 18 оборотов в минуту - http://alii.pub/6d0wah На этих двигателях есть энкодер, но в этом проекте он не используется. Тем не менее можно купить именно их, если у вас есть идеи, как задействовать энкодеры.

Я сделал 4 варианта колёс:
V1 – Это те, что использовал я. Они больше подходят для использования парами, с мотор-редукторами с двойным валом.
V2 – Отличаются от первой версии более короткими грунтозацепами. Их можно использовать с более оборотистыми мотор-редукторами на 20-30 оборотов в минуту.
V3 – Эти колёса вдвое шире, с длинными грунтозацепами. Предназначены для редукторов с одним валом.
V4 – широкие колёса с короткими грунтозацепами.

Я использовал аккумуляторы Свинг 5300, потому что они были под рукой. Их можно заменить на обычные 18650.

Солнечная панель здесь носит больше декоративный характер, просто ввиду своих небольших размеров. Но всё же она может заряжать аккумулятор, пусть и небольшим током.

Для управления используется беспроводной контроллер от PS2. С ним могут быть проблемы, далеко не все они нормально работают с Ардуино. Потому рекомендую брать либо несколько штук, в разных магазинах. Либо сразу более дорогие и качественные. Так же можете дождаться модели второго подобного лунохода – там управление будет осуществляться при помощи Ардуино и стандартной аппаратуры радиоуправления.

Так же ничто не мешает отказаться от ардуино вовсе, и собрать просто радиоуправляемую модель. Для этого понадобится любой 3S аккумулятор, пара регуляторов оборотов для коллекторных двигателей, и аппаратура с приёмником.
