Are you struggling and getting fed up of keep looking down at your pocket or tool belt when you can't clip in your tape measure? Well here is your answer... the quick release magnetic tape holder.
This was designed for the 8m Stanley tape measure, but could be used on most tape measures. I printed two simple housings that would fit 4no 10mm diameter 3mm thick neodymium magnets then secured with cyanoacrylate super glue.
Removing the clip from the tape and using the same screw to fit the yellow mount (as in photo) the clip was screwed to the clip mount using a 3x8mm bolt and securing the nut with glue.
