Description
I made this insert to help me store the contents of the Kickstarter X-Men United boxes I bought. Will not fit sleeved cards btw. Here is what I designed it to fit:
So from 5 boxes down to one. The insert is meant to fit into the big box that the stretch goals were in. I sorted all the heroes, anti-heroes, and villains in alphabetical order, 54 heroes, 20 villains (but 22 minis because of Toad, Pyro, and Blob are one villain deck with 3 minis), and 7 anti-heroes. There are:
6 trays for the heroes (9 heroes in each tray)
3 trays for the villains (7 villains in each of the first 2 trays, and 6 in the third but 8 minis because that is where Toad, Pyro, and Blob go). Because there are only 6 villain card decks in the third tray I made the space for the cards slightly smaller and the space for the minis slightly bigger (not reflected in my picture, since I did not realize this until after I printed it). That's why there are 2 different files for the villain trays (one file for tray 1 and 2, and one for tray 3)
1 tray for the 7 antiheroes. I printed it half blue and half red since I did not want to buy a whole roll of purple filament just for this.
1 big tray for the location boards, villain boards, and other cards
3 long trays for tokens
3 small square trays for tokens (designed to go in the corner of the game box).
It should make sense how everything fits from the pictures. If you bought different X-Men boxes but have about the same amount of stuff, you should still be able to make it work for you, or remix it accordingly.
I also make a PDF with a description of what is in each box, to make finding things easier. For this I just used Pages and these excellent pics from Pinterest:
