Description
I wanted a simple but secure mount for the electrical connections to tools on my MPCNC Primo, so I came up with this. It clips on to the Z rails, between the Z motor mount and Z coupler. I'm using two XLR connectors, one with 4 conductors, and one with 6. The 4 conductor connector is for the AC power to the router, and because the male pins are exposed and possibly live when the router is not connected, I made a cover for the pins. The 6 pin connector will carry 12v, 5v, ground, and fan signal (for laser control).
It's a little tricky to get the connectors mounted, but it's not too hard - especially if you mount them after attaching the wires, but before running the wires through whatever cable management you have set up.
Including the step file in case someone wants to modify this for other kinds of connectors or switches.
Print it face down. No need for supports.
