MPCNC Koala Vac Head for DW660

This is a vacuum head for the Koala Vac by newtechcreative, adapted to fit the DW660. To use this, you will need the other parts for the Koala Vac, which are located on Thangs - search for newtechcreative there.

Vacuum heads often have a brush around the bottom to help keep the suction level up. You can glue a brush onto this design, or you can print the skirt I designed and glue that in. Print the skirt in TPU and adjust the z scale in your slicer to make it as thin as possible - a layer or two at most. The more flexible, the better. The skirt is longer than it needs to be - just trim it for the best fit.

I printed the vac head upside down, and used paint-on supports only under the curved open section. See the picture for where the supports should go. You can print the model without any supports, but that one section will probably have a few stray filament strands you will need to trim off. The part would still be functional.
