Description
The Queensland Railways standard goods shed design came in three sizes and I have modelled the "medium" 30 feet x 20 feet (9m x 6m) version.
They were clad in either weatherboard or vertical corrugated iron sheets, but I have used weatherboards to match the Queensland Railways standard station I have also designed and printed.
The 2-door version has centrally located doors front and rear, while the 3-door version has offset front and rear doors and an end door. Loading platforms varied greatly, with some extending past the shed and mounting a goods crane. I have included files for the doors, but it is easier to just use scribed sheet styrene rather than a resin print.
This is not a print for beginners, requiring quite a bit of thought about orientation on the printing plate as well as lot of careful assembly of the resulting kit of parts. (Some parts require multiple copies: 2 gutters, 2 gables, 36 stumps, 4 roof brackets)
