Description

In my plans of slowly upgrading my TronXY X5SA to a VZBot, I wanted to upgrade the wheels to a linear rails.

Since the VZbot BOM uses a MGN9 linear rail for the X gantry, I remixed marcelshiffer's main carriage (since I have to keep everything else stock) to use the MGN9 rail and also added the volcano mount from chito's e3dv6 mounts (as I upgraded to a E3Dv6 and installed a CHC ceramic heat block). For the heatsink fan, I used the 40mm fan mount from chito's make.

I also like'd morfaber's EVA fan duct so I remixed it so I can use it with the main carriage.
For the part fan duct, I stretched morfaber's vent so that it'll be inlined with the print head. Also added a mount to this so that I can use the stock black Tronxy TR sensor.

I printed this in ABS as I will eventually enclose it. Just leaving this for myself and if anyone else would like to use it.

For the main carriage, I made it at 100% infill (since the belts has to be tensioned), but pretty sure it could be printed with less. For the other parts, I printed it following the sourced recommended infill percentage.

You will also need the following hardware (estimating some of the lengths as I don't remember):

Multiple M3x8mm pan head screws and t-nuts (I used 5 sets of them to mount the rail to the 2020 extrusion)
2x M3x8mm bolts/screws (to mount the fan duct)
4x M3x10mm bolts/screws (to secure the carriage to the rail)
10x M3 nuts
4x M3x20mm bolts/screws (for the 5015 fan and the TronXY Sensor)
2x M3x25mm bolts/screws (to mount the hotend)
2x M4 Bolts/screws for the cable chain
2x M4 Nuts to secure the cable chain
4x M3 nuts from the stock hotend fan can be reused.
