Description
Kakashis' White Light Chakra Saber From Naruto Shippudden!!
I have not personally printed this blade as of yet, but i will as soon as i have room on my wall lol.
I designed it to be used for either a young Kakashi or Sakumo cosplay. They both wear different style straps when carrying it on their backs.
Technically this would be considered a short sword not a tanto due to the length, however I felt it looked better with the added length. If you disagree, just exclude the "Blade Middle" and "Scabbard Middle" from your build for a more accurate tanto.
These models are intended for the scabbard to be glued to the scabbard ring when assembling the sword. I've considered including a peg onto the scabbard so it could slip in and out through the ring. If you'd like to see that variation, let me know in the comments and i will include it with the files.
File Details:
The scabbard hole is %13 larger than the blade itself. It should not fit too snugly in the scabbard. Paint could interfere with this if you intend to paint it.
The scabbard has 2 - 4mm holes to fit 1/8" rods for easier assembly.
The sword also has a 4mm hole in the core to help support the blade.
The 4 holes on the Scabbard Plate are 6mm wide. If you intend to attach the Plate to a strap using bolts Id recommend having the bolt head to your back so it wont be uncomfortable to carry. Personally i would use superglue and EVA foam as the strap.
Glue the Scabbard to the Scabbard Ring at the seam of the Scabbard Mouth and Middle. This will held Hide the seam.
