Galen Mareks Lightsabers from The Force Unleashed 2!!!

The Force Unleashed games are some of my all time favorite stories from the Star Wars universe. I don't care what anyone says, they're canon to me lol.

I never did like the lightsabers he used in the game, to me they looked like glowsticks. The lightsabers he used in the trailers however, i like the design very much.

I discovered a great model of this saber on https://www.printables.com/ by the artist "ReProps".You can check out his model and how he assembles it in the links below.
His models are intended to be painted, and i prefer to print my lightsabers from silk material so i don't have to paint.

I also took inspiration from Saberforges Reliant MK 2 When designing this saber.

At first i was just going to remove the button from his model so i could avoid painting it, but one thing led to another and i ended up redesigning the entire saber. I do however add a blackwash to the recessed points of the sabers to help give it a weathered look, so there is some optional painting.

"ReProps" Models were scaled up 200% when printing, mine were only scaled up 175% for the final model, and I Increased the the length of the grip for a better fit in the hand.

**I adjusted the individual models uploaded here so they're intended to all be printed at 100%. The picture with the size is of the original model, multiply by 1.5 and the overall length of the actual saber is 325mm or 12.8 inches.

The Grip can be printed in any color. After assembled, wrap the grip in leather or a tattered material to match the appearance in the photos above.

I did consider including a Covertec wheel to the grip so cosplayers could carry the sabers the way Galen does in the trailers. I did see an issue though with the leather wrap interfering with the wheel. Perhaps a redesign down the road.
