Description
SSD NAS Server open air case for Raspberry Pi board; should fit all full-size models with 4 hole mounting (B+, RPI2, RPI3, RPI4). Board is position so back plane is even with back of SSD. Meant for standard 2.5" drive.
CPU mounts on top, SSD below. Provisions for screw mounts top and bottom, uncased for maximum airflow, though I keep mine in a box.
My RPI3 is running OpenMedia NAS software on Raid 0. This yields a relatively slow (10 mbps) but low power-consumption (15w) server. It runs around the clock with almost zero downtime.
RPI 4 should technically be able to run everything faster and would fit, though that wasn't my experience. Higher power, heat.
Printed in PLA with 20% infill. Expect any material or density would work.
