Description
INFO: if someone has an ESP32 board that is a bit wider than 28.2mm then the case will probably fit better
wider version with "default" NRF24L01+ radio module

wider version with EBYTE E01-ML01DP5 radio module

complete solderless openDTU / ahoyDTU case
solderless = all parts can be reused
If you want to build a solderless case for the openDTU / ahoyDTU projects, you've come to the right place.
The case has also been adapted for the EBYTE nordic wireless modules.
The following combinations can therefore be installed
ESP32 NodeMCU Module + NRF24L01+ radio board with external antenna
ESP32 NodeMCU Module + EBYTE E01-ML01DP5 2,4 GHz Wireless Modul nRF24L01+ with external antenna
I recommend the board for the case
https://www.az-delivery.de/a/s/products/esp32-developmentboard
You always need a combination of
DTU_BOTTOM + DTU_TOP*
or
DTU_ebyte_BOTTOM + DTU_ebyte_TOP*
You can always choose a variant with the opendtu logo....
If you want to print a transparent LED cover then use LED.stl for that.
For the buttons please use BUTTONS.stl
The assembling with the buttons can be a bit tricky - so I've written a quick guide:
https://hilber.co.at/opendtu/verry_simple_assembly_manual.pdf
The case has been designed to fit very precisely. Please let us know if the size fits - maybe I can improve something. Sometimes it also depends on the material... I print everything with Tom's 3D PLA.
