Cornelius KEG Washer

This tool can be used to clean your KEGs or fermenters with just a tiny effort. It can save quite a lot of time.

While commercial solutions exist, this design is fine replacement which will cost you a lot less. The total price - depending on the pump you use - will be well below $40.

I only suggest feeding this with cold liquids (no more than 30°C) to avoid damage to the pump. You can use sanitizer such as Chemipro OXI, a PBW, or just pure water to rinse stuff up.

This is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4857469 which was almost fully reworked. The only things borrowed are the general idea and Keg stand. The rest of the parts was designed from ground up.

You will need following parts to make this work:

• A submersible pump. I used this but a different one can be used easily. The only thing you'll need is to design your own attachment part. The thread on the manifold is ISO Standard M16 with 1.5 pitch. I suggest using something rather powerful (2500L/h+, ~60W).
• M16 electrical installation pipe. You'll need around 2M length. These pipes should be easily obtainable at your local hobby shop. You'll have to split it to create 4 legs (30 cm) and a shower pipe (45 cm). The actual length will depend on specific parts used.
• A bucket that will fit the pump and the KEG stand. Again, this should be easily obtainable at your local hobby shop. I used a 20L bucket for construction sites.
• 2x ball lock connectors & sufficient length of beer line to connect your KEG.
• (Optional) For best results, ball lock fitting insulation can be attached on the 3D-printed part. But it works without it just fine.

You'll also need to print following parts:

• 1x three-way manifold
• 2x ball lock fittings
• 1x shower
• 1x pump attachment
• 1x KEG stand
