Description
It's a shame they want $79 for these little cameras now... but I digress. Here for your taking is my window mount for a Ubiquiti UniFI G3 Instant camera. I have mine pointed out my back window and glare from inside lights caused reflections of inside to appear on the camera regularly. This camera shroud/cover helps cut those down and provides a stable way to attach your camera to the window.
The cover has a hole in the back to feed your USB plug through and it allows some back and forth adjustment of the cable to get the angle of the camera as you want it. The "wings" on the side of the cover are set back one millimeter to allow you to attach some double-sided tape to adhere it to the window while still getting the cover flush with the window pane. I sized the wings to use 3M VHB tape which sticks very well to glass (and almost anything for that matter).
I've included the full model as one STL file and also uploaded a split version that consists of a top and bottom file that allows you to print fully without supports (although you'll have to super-glue it together if you print the split files). Enjoy.
UPDATE: Thanks to a comment by GiraffeMetropolis, I've added a vented versions of the split (top and bottom) sections.
