Update V3:
I was very pleased with the construction of V2 but felt that the fixing posts could be made even more rigid, so my final version with all parts changed can be downloaded from Cults for a small fee.

Update V2:
The fixing post thickness has been increased from 1.4mm to 1.9mm to allow for greater rigidity and assembly dimension errors.
I realised that I missed a hole for an alignment lug on V1 fixings, so this has now been included with increased ribs to help stop the fixings bending back.
The new V2 fixings still fit V1 covers

Details:
My daughter came home saying that someone had stolen one of the headlight washer covers from her 2008 Vauxhall Astra H. I said don't worry, I can print you a new one if I remove the remaining cover to copy. I carefully investigated the cover that was still fitted and with very little force it came off in my hand. At first I was pleased then I noticed that I had broken both of the fixing holes that retain it in position. After many apologies I realised that the recent cold weather and numerous headlight/screen washes had already weakened the fixing holes leading to the loss of one cover but at least I had something to copy, so I promised to make a matching pair.

The covers are left and right handed but the left and right fixing posts, and the flat fixing plates are common to each cover.
