Description
This piece helps to avoid stress on the cables next to the plug due to the print head movements.
The hole on the left side in my case is for mounting a 3mm led connected to the filament cooling fan plug (on the solder side).
In series with the led, a 1K 1/4W resistance must be soldered, resulting in 10mA on the led.
The central hole with a hexagonal cavity on the back is for my case to mount an accessory to use the printer as a plotter.
As I usually don't turn on the fan in the first few layers, it's also useful when printing with some filaments/parts where I turn off the fan at some points during the printing process, allowing me to easily monitor the status of the fan.
