Description
This is a compact diagonal flow dual horn cooling duct for the TRONXY XY-3 (XY3) SE series 3D printers. Which used the original side cooling fan and designed fits in the original head cover. Which is optimized by CFD for better cooling than the original duct at the same air volume.
Analyzed by CFD the air flow is designed to focus just under the printing nozzle. And the horns are not face-to-facing and bit offsetted to provide exhaust flow toward the left rear that suppresses turbulence around the model.

ABS or any other high temperature material is recommended. Using brim and the draft shield is better. The STL contains a builtin support for the mounter bracket and no additional supports required. Remove a builtin support after the print.
BOM: M3x12 1pc
Uninstall the side fan and original duct first. Then remove the screw on the bottom of the hotend cooler and replace it with a M3x12 screw to install the printed duct into the bottom of the head cover. Finally, re-install the side fan.
On the test which is visualizing air flow by using water surface the air focused under the printing nozzle and it shows a symmetrical dimple.
