Macintosh G3 Desktop Drive Caddy

The drive sled or drive caddy for a Power Macintosh G3 desktop. Also known as Apple Power Macintosh 3.5" Hard Disk Drive Sled Part Number 815-1688

The Power Mac G3 Desktop has space for three additional drives. Two are next to the floppy/CD, the third is tucked away next to the motherboard. Each of these drives are secured to the chassis with a mounting plate. This mounting plate screws to the bottom of the drive, then slides into rails on the chassis.

This project replicates the stock drive sled found in a Power Macintosh G3 Desktop. This project might also be applicable to other macs of the era, I do not have one to test.

This must be printed with overhangs, and some post-printing cleanup may be required. It does work though; tested it out on my own machine.
