OpenScan Mini Background Hemisphere

A wee background design for the OpenScan Mini. It should just sit in place without glue or fasteners, but you can glue it on if you want it to be permanently attached.

Best method for finishing the print is to use filler and sandpaper to smooth out the interior, then paint it matte black. If you can get your hands on some optical black, the really dark vantablack-type stuff, then that would be the best option. Presumably it could also get printed or painted in a bright colour and then chroma-keyed out in post production.

I printed it open-side-down, which meant using a lot of supports on the inside, however I thought that was acceptable given it was going to get sanded and painted anyway.
