##Mini Eggs Carton
This is a simple egg carton for storing my favorite Easter candy - Cadbury Mini Eggs. The hinge holes are sized so that the two halves can connected with 1.75 mm filament.

There are 5 files in the download:

• An stl file of the top half
• An stl file of the bottom half
• A 3mf file with both halves
• A 3mf file with both halves and a supports tear tab to make removal of the supports much easier.
• A 3mf file with both halves, a supports tear tab, and a block which you need to convert to a settings modifier block to enable supports for the lower portion of the bottom piece only.

###Slicer Settings
I recommend using the version with the supports tear tab and modifier block.

Cura
Load the model into Cura and in the settings disable supports if it's enabled. Then perform the following actions, as in the screenshot:

1. Select the large rectangle by clicking on it
2. Select the “Per Model Settings” tool
3. Change the mesh type to a “Modify settings for overlaps”
4. Change the mesh to a “Cutting mesh”
5. Select the settings and select the "Generate Support" setting
6. Enable the "Generate Support" setting

PrusaSlicer
Load the model as a multi-part object into PrusaSlicer. Then perform the following actions, as in the screenshot:

1. Set the supports to Support Enforcers Only
2. Right click on the rectangle part to bring up the context menu
3. Choose "Change type" in the context menu
4. Change the type to “Supports Enforcer”

###Assembly
If the holes are a bit too tight for the filament you can hand twist a drill bit through the hole on the bottom piece, twist some filament as you're pushing it through the hole on the top piece, or twist and turn the filament in a loop of sandpaper.

They were a bit tight on my print, so before I assembled it, I just twisted the filament back and forth like a drill bit as I was pushing it through the holes. I used a piece about twice as long as needed for the hinge so that it was easier to grab onto. Then when I assembled it, the holes and filament were worn down enough so that I could push it through fairly easily. After it was assembled I snipped the filament to the length of the hinge.

###Remix Details
I used Blender to make this remix. I cut off a bit of the bottom of both halves, stretched out the bottom of the top part to reduce the extreme overhangs, resized it to fit the Mini Eggs, filled the hinge holes and cut new 2.0 mm hinge holes.
