Description
Still have 3mm filament that you want to use with your Printrbot Plus v2.1 with the Z-X Upgrade? This adapter replaces the standard baseplate (using Direct Drive extruder) with one that lets you mount the tried & true Wades Extruder.
I created this after having continual poor performance using the Direct Drive Extruder with the 3mm Geared Stepper motor, yet still wanted to use up the rest of my 3mm filament before moving on to 1.75mm.
It works well, and the good thing is that I only lost 25mm of print width!
