Description
I found that during longer recording sessions at 4K in a warm environment, my Sony Alpha 7 IV tends to overheat and then shuts down mid recording following a warning.
So I built a holder for a small 40 mm 5V fan which can be attached to the camera when the screen is flipped out. The surface behind the screen is where the camera gets the hottest during operation.
This is the fan which I'm using and it's running directly off a small 1S LiPo battery (600mAh, 3.7V). When in series with a 10 Ohm resistor the RPM is less aggressive and barely audible.

I suppose this holder should also work fine for the Alpha 7S III which apparently also has a fully articulate screen.
EDIT. Added Versions V2 and V3 which include the LiPo battery (V2) and even allow for a small switch and wiring (V3)
