Description
A 1:1000 model of the famous Nakagin capsule tower in Tokyo. This model should be printed on a resin printer. I've included some supports in the model to aid with printing, as some slicing softwares don't allow you to put fine supports. You can fill the windows in with Micro Krystal Klear, but leaving them open may look nicer.
It's designed so that you should be able to put some LEDs up the tower cores and the light should come out the windows. I suggest printing it in a dark (ideally black) resin, then blasting some white or silver paint up the hollow inside of the towers before painting the rest of the model. This will allow the light to reflect around and out of the windows without bleeding through the model.
