Rugged Box testdrive Artillery Sidewinder 2
I utilized the model of this box from the author

link to the model , for testing my new printer. This box itself is parametric, excellent documentation and the flexibility to create a model of any dimensions you desire. Furthermore, you can customize elements such as locks and other features to meet your specific requirements.
I specifically designed my box to store various fluxes, adhesives, and other chemicals that I use in my work. Besides, I'm not particularly fond of testing printers on abstract models like vases or test-ships. That's why I opted for a functional solution - this box. The internal dimensions of the printed box are 150x110x105 mm.
To secure the hinges, you can use screws, but I opted for cylindrical rods and adhesive for fixation. I've provided several links with different options, so you can choose whichever method suits you best. As for the locks, I printed them using ABS, the box itself was printed with PLA, and the gasket was made of TPU.
Now let's talk a bit about the printer. I won't list all the printer specifications here as you can find them on the manufacturer's page. However, I'll mention a few key points. Overall, with dimensions like 300x300x400 mm, the printer performs quite well in its tasks. However, if you are considering purchasing one of these or a similar model, it may require some minor modifications. Adding diagonal supports to stabilize the Z-axis will enhance its stability. Although, it wouldn't hurt to have such supports on many printers of this type.
The assembly of the printer is incredibly straightforward. It simply involves tightening four screws and connecting the wires. The printer is practically ready to go right out of the box. I recently published a video showcasing the assembly process. If you're interested, you can find all the details here:
