Parametric orchid pot (or general plant pot)

Get air to your roots!

Orchids like a lot of air to their roots yet most orchid pots have solid walls.

This design lets you generate pots of many shapes and sizes and add holes to the side allowing better air circulation and reducing the chance of the medium becoming rotten.

This was designed firstly for orchids but since the holes are optional can be used for any potted plant.

Highly Configurable

Configuration includes:

• set height/radius
• set top/bottom curvature
• add any number of feet, their height and width
• set size of drainage holes
• set wall thickness
• set number of wall holes, their rotation, range of sizes and roundness

09/01/15 - Added hole generation script (opens in browser) removing the need for RapCAD and simplifying the process (hooray!). Improved hole generation algorithm. Fixed a bug where holes could overlap.
