8 Button Sanwa Fight stick for small print beds

I remixed this from ThespianMask's Sanwa Arcade Stick w/8buttons to fit the parts I had left over from a cabinet. There are 2 versions (V2 and V3) one with 12mm added height and 5mm lowered standoffs for more room for stuff inside the shell. I also added a very WIP cable wrap to the side of the stick top for storage I have not printed this cable wrap version yet.

The standoffs are for an IPAC 2 board and I included the FreeCAD files I used to modify them. Using the sketcher workbench in FreeCAD you can make them any distance or size you need. I also included a little screw test so you can check the expansion of your filament if you want threaded holes. I eventually will switch to heat inserts myself.

I changed 2 of the 24mm buttonholes on the rear to 30mm and moved the remaining 24 mm more to the middle to fit my USB A to C 24mm connector. I removed the small pass-through hole opting for the 24mm quick disconnect of USB C connection, which I could also use to power LED buttons. I removed the zero tolerance T joints and changed them to I joints for alignment with a generous +1mm tolerance.

Finally, I made a support bracket to glue over the inside bottom seam using CA glue. This bracket probably isn't needed to be honest. The whole thing is very rigid once all buttons, and stick is installed.

I used 4 walls for all parts, for strength, but again this is probably overkill. I printed the button and stick tops button side down on a raft with a textured top skin with standard supports for the vertical buttonholes. I used the same textured rafts on the bottom of stick and button bottoms as well. The texture makes an interesting look when I wrap the sides in vinyl but the use of this is purely subjective.
