Description
The Colosseum in an oval amphitheatre in the centre of Rome, Italy. It is the largest ancient amphitheatre ever built. Upon its completion in 80AD, the Colosseum could hold up to 80000 spectators for gladiatorial contests, animal hunts, executions, battle re-enactments, and plays.
