Program Director - Frosthaven Boss

***Update:
I found a closeup photo of the boss in the rule book, so I decided to make a few design changes to get my model as close to the artwork as possible. I am now including those files as "Program_Director_v3a" (the vertical pose), and "Program_Director_v3b" (the extended pose). Although I think v3 is the better of the designs, I will leave the older files, in case someone likes one of those more.

Back story:
I couldn't find any designs for the Program Director Frosthaven Boss, so I thought I'd make my own :). If you end up printing it, I'd love to hear from you in the comments and see your make!

Design notes:
I tried to remain as close to the artwork as possible, while still considering printability. V1 was my first attempt (seen in the photo with the Mindthief and the Brute); I made two versions of V1: "a" which is a more vertical pose, and "b" which has the arm extending further back (which is how it appears in the artwork). The "roof" is a bit more complex due to the gears I added, as well as some other details.

For V2 I completely redesigned the roof and added hanging cables, as shown in the artwork (you can see it in the photos with the Cragheart). The new roof is a bit simpler, and I added a "hole" on the bottom, as opposed to the gears. The idea being that the hole could be painted black, and it would look as though the arm is actually extending out of the darkness.

Print notes:
I sliced the files with Lychee and didn't have any issues. V1 also prints fine, even though Lychee failed to fix the issues it found (states all the holes couldn't be filled, but they didn't cause any issues).

V2 prints fine without repairing, but the repair function in Lychee did a great job of filling whatever holes I apparently missed (shows as fully repaired).

The cables on V2 may be fragile (depending on which resin you use and your printer settings) due to their small size, but even if they break, it'll just add to the illusion and wont damage or affect the rest of the model :P. I managed to print 3 copies of V2 without breaking a single cable, and I wasn't exactly gentle when removing the supports (one of the benefits of ABS-Like resin). I will also include a "V2a_thick file", which is the same as V2a, but I increased the thickness of the hanging cables, so they are less likely to break when removing the supports.

V1, and to a lesser extent V2, show numerous islands, but they can just be ignored, as they are incredibly small. Make sure to support any obvious islands, but ignore the countess ones on all the corners and gears. If you print them at 0.025 or above, they are swallowed up by the layer height (I printed at 0.03).
