Post-Printing

                <div><p>50% of given size, 3.25 in length 1.4 in width</p><p>I have a Photon Mono X, and typically every print has an unavoidable "elephant's foot", here I added supports all along the base and sanded it down. I suggest doing this if you have an elephant's foot problem.</p><p>I used regular white plant-based resin here, when the picture was taken (7/13/23) it was uncured, in which the sanding caused the bottom to be dirty. I suggest curing it before sanding, but also removing supports or rafts before curing. If you do not have a curer (I don't), then you can easily let the print rest in the sun. Make sure to move it around every once in a while to get every angle (if you use white resin, it may turn beige).</p><p>Whilst using supports, the print took around 3 hours to finish (print is at 50% of size when downloaded). Without bottom supports, it will take around 2 - 2.5 hours. At full size, it will take around 4.5 hours.</p></div>

How I Designed This

I took an image of the bridge and put it as an SVG and then stretched it in length to make the bridge. Then I found a model of @kitwallace's "Avon Gorge" on Thingiverse and lowered the number of sides to compress the model's file size. Then I found a good spot to put the bridge and removed the excess landscape for that one part. Then all I did was edit the landscape a little to work with the bridge, removed or added parts of the bridge that was awkward, and finally added a title to the front of one file.

I wanted to make this because I took a trip to WVA because my 3x and 2x great grandfathers were coal miners that lived in Fayetteville. My grandfather was also born there and I went white water rafting in the New River. I thought the whole area was neat and didn't see a model of this here so I decided to make it.
