Inspired by https://www.livescience.com/archaeology/romans/silver-medal-featuring-winged-medusa-discovered-at-roman-fort-near-hadrians-wall - this is a "silver medal featuring winged Medusa discovered at Roman fort near Hadrian's Wall." A phalera is a term used for military decorations from that era of the Roman Empire. This was prompted by someone mentioning me in an article posted by a wonderful curator of history nerderation. <3
