Description
This is a replacement for the OEM cardboard piece that goes in the instrument cluster of a 64-66 Chevy C-10, between the turn signal bulb and the cutout for the turn signal arrow. When you take apart the gauge cluster, each turn signal has a small paper tube that connects the turn signal indicator bulb to the arrow printed on the face of the cluster. This prevents the light from the turn signal bleeding out onto the rest of the cluster.
You'll find a little green filter at the end of the tube, nearest the cutout of the arrow. That filter should snap onto the end of this print, just like the original.
It's easiest to install with the gauge cluster fully removed from the vehicle. After doing that, it's easiest to bend the tabs that retained the OEM tube in place out, put this new light pipe in place, and bend them back.
Update*
I've added an outside piece. It's best to print both, with the inside in white and the outside in black. This gives the bulb the white material to bounce off of, and the black keeps it from spilling into the rest of the gauge cluster.
