Fine Line Test Part for 0.4mm Nozzle

Overview

This part allows you to test how fine lines are printed when using a 3D printer with a 0.4mm nozzle. The width of the fine lines varies from 0.1mm to 2.0mm with 0.1mm increments. The length of each line is 10mm. You can use this part to adjust the settings of the nozzle, the filament flow, the temperature, and so on.

How to Use

You need to slice this part with a slicer software such as [Cura] or [PrusaSlicer], and then print it with a 3D printer. When printing, please pay attention to the following points.

  • Set the layer height to 0.1mm or less.
  • Adjust the filament temperature according to the material.
  • Change the settings of retraction, coasting, and so on if necessary.
  • After printing, check the width, shape, and strength of each line. You can judge whether the nozzle, filament, and slicer settings are appropriate or not by seeing how well the fine lines are printed.
