Description
This is a remix of thing 6114991 - full link below.
A mando helmet split into segments along logical seam lines allowing for small print runs.
Along these seams I’ve added “tabs” for registration marks, this allows the pieces to be assembled in exactly the way they need to be. So when you glue them together they remain in the correct position.
Scale
Print @ 80% for a big human head - 60cm head circumference.
Print @ 68% for a big 6 year old head - 52cm head circumference
Print times @ 80%
Face plate = 18~ hours
Side piece = 22~ hours (each)
Crest + rear vent = 6~ hours
Ear peices = 3 hours (I think)
Print orientation (this is what worked for me!)
Crest = Laid on it’s side
Facade plate - Upside down (eyebrow flat on print bed)
Side pieces = bottom flat on the build plate (a lot of support)
Ear pieces = laid on one side
