Description
Ran into difficulties sourcing a replacement trigger switch that fits the Black & Decker U-130/7301 circle saw to replace the damaged original part. B&D no longer sells a replacement part and I couldn't find any aftermarket suppliers with a part that had the same wide top to seat into the tool handle. I was able to locate a suitable replacement that would fit, but I had to print some adapter brackets that I CA glued to the new trigger to make it work as intended.

You will need to print 2 of the adapter brackets and glue them to the replacement trigger assembly. I found that Thin CA glue and an activator spray was adequate to join the parts securely. All pressure from pulling the trigger is transferred into the back of the handle, so the brackets are really only needed to maintain alignment of the parts during assembly and use.
