Ford Mustang GT (S197) 2005-2009 Fog Light Hella 500 Conversion Housing

This is a Hella 500 housing to convert the Ford Mustang GT (S197) 2005-2009 stock fog lights. The goal is to retain the ability to aim the lights while being able to use upgraded Hella 500 bulb housings, specifically the Black Magic series.

I like the blacked out look when used behind a billet grill as they almost completely disappear when turned off. Additionally, they stay clear longer since they use glass lenses over the stock plastic ones.

Originally I simply modified the stock housings, but found it difficult/impossible to change the relatively short lived bulbs when they burned out without completely disassembling and having to glue them in again. This design should not only make it easier to convert to the Hella 500 style housings, while still retaining the ability to aim and change the bulbs.

UPDATE: Changes coming soon to add a locking ring mechanism for the front ring, along with some other minor tweaks. Will add the updated models and pictures once I've had a chance to complete the design changes, print and test them.
