Seestar S50 Twist Lock Filter Holder

An alternative for adding a 2" filter to the front lens of the Seestar S50 smart telescope from ZWO. This uses a twist lock to secure the filter and is much easier than having to screw in the filter or use bolts to secure the cap to the holder.

I used an Ankermake M5C with Precision setting and global supports and the filter holder fits perfectly onto the scope directly from the printer without any adjustments. Only tested on an Optolong L-Ultimate filter and it should work with the L-Extreme or most other 2" filters.

DISCLAIMER: Just so you know, please don't forget to remove the filter holder before parking the scope or it will jam the arm and possibly damage your scope!!!

When using a dual-band filter, also engage the internal LP filter on your ZWO to get a proper reading from the sensor as it will otherwise not read enough stars in the frame and discard your subs!!!
