Wyze Pan v3 Mounting Solutions

I love the Wyze Pan v3, but I’ve found the mounting and cabling options to be a bit limiting. To counter this, I designed a number of modified mounts over the past year that make it possible to use both 90 degree and straight micro USB cables, mount the camera upside down, and mount it to virtually any pole that can support its weight. All mounts are compatible with the mounting screw that came with the camera.
Notes on the specific mounts:
1) Horizontal Mount – This two-part assembly allows you to flush-mount the camera to a surface, either right side up or upside down. The mount is fastened to the surface with two #6 screws of any length and mount components A &B are be fastened together with two ¾” long #6 wood screws.

1. Vertical Mount- This is a modified version of the standard mount included with the camera. Like all of the mounts in this collection, it is designed to work with 90 degree and straight micro USB cables.

2. Mount Extenders – Sometimes you just need the camera to sit a little further from the wall.

3. Modular Pole Mount – This is a GoPro-esq modular mount that will allow you to mount a Wyze Pan v3 to just about anything. I needed to mount it to a 1-5/8” pole so I made a four-point mounting ring and corresponding vertical Wyze mount. The mount secures to the receiver with two M4-18 or 20 and two nuts. I’ve included a model of the receiver without the mounting ring so you can easily part hack it and stick a Wyze cam to whatever you can imagine.
