Description
I was gifted a Sindoh 3DWOX DP200 and have been working on making it more usable.
I first reloaded all the firmware with the Sindoh provided open filament firmware. This allows you to remove the cartridge and use spools in the cartridge bay, but the cartridge bay doesn't allow for spools easily. Skinner spools up to 65mm work in the bay, but fatter spools don't sit right because the floor is missing. These two parts expand the floor surface and allow for spools up to 200mm in diameter and up to 80mm in width, including Hatchbox brands.
3DWOX_SpoolFillIn: Lower piece that fills in the floor plate with the spool curvature
3DWOX_UpperSpace: Allows the metal bar to reattach to the upper screw holes
3DWOX_SpoolAdapter_ScrewHolder: OPTIONAL, print two of these, they are little trays to hold the factory screws that you remove, they slide into two empty molding cavities on the bottom right.
Steps.
Remove right side cover
Remove 4 screws holding metal bar
Insert bottom piece
Install bottom two screws along with metal bar (you'll need to find your own that are same diameter and about 1 cm longer)
Insert top spacer
Install final two screws
Some fins on the side cover need to be removed, I used an oscillating tool to remove them on mine.
UPDATE 1/10/2026: I added the Sindoh FW open filament update guide and files since I've been told that these are no longer available from Sindoh.
