I empathize with the case you've eloquently laid out as evident by own repeated statements re: not agreeing removing someone's logo, I really do. We don't disagree there.

However, we might elsewhere. Ease of search is just not going to be affected with the addition of a design without a logo. That's just not true. But your other point, if proven true, is sound enough to render the ease of search unnecessary.

As for the topic of integrity of the design: just so we're on the same page and i'm hearing you correctly, you're saying with full certainty that under testing that the addition of your logo via the mechanism you described "enhances structural integrity" more so than without the logo? Please confirm as I will be thoroughly and comprehensively testing that statement and don't want to waste my time if that's not true. The feature of the cup being beneficial is entirely separate from your logo. Your wordmark is the markings. The circle happens to be the avatar border. As I cross check your profile and your printables page which i already do as is given the fantastic designs, to say that "your logo" is structurally integral to the design is entirely unfair. The cup that your wordmark is placed is may be. Yes. So, are you saying the cup without your logo is less structurally sound? to a material, statistically significant level that you've verified enough to use that statement as fact? If the answer is no, then you are playing a semantic game to defend a point that really doesn't need defense in bad faith. It doesn't take a engineering background to understand the benefits of that design. Luckily I have one, but I also work in branding. So when I say i empathize, I truly do.

and frankly, if you truly want this to be your hill you fight on, I encourage you to charge for the more premium design with your logo then. If you lay it out in a logical way that focuses on the benefit of structural integrity, I think it's a very compelling argument to warrant a premium price in a brand ppl believe in. I don't believe this is true but I would be open to it. I wish you'd tell ppl that story how your wordmark specific strengthens the design.

We don't even really disagree less one point and even if that persists, it won't change my advocation of your design. except in the cases where i've had to avoid the hinge bc of the logo and how visible. it was placed for the overall aesthetics to be consistent.
