Suzuki Bandit GSF 400 Fuse Box Cap

On my Suzuki Bandit GSF400, one of the retaining lugs on the cover of the fuse box was broken off. Unfortunately, the part is no longer available as a spare part. I therefore redesigned the cover and printed it in ABS. PETG or PLA might also be suitable, but I always print vehicle parts in ABS.

It is important that the cover is printed lying on its side, otherwise the retaining lugs would break off too quickly due to a lack of layer adhesion. This makes it necessary to print with support. The infill should be 100% for maximum stability.

Bei meiner Suzuki Bandit GSF400 ist eine der Haltelaschen am Deckel des Sicherungskastens abgebrochen. Leider ist das Teil nicht mehr als Ersatzteil erhältlich. Deshalb habe ich den Deckel neu entworfen und in ABS gedruckt. PETG oder PLA könnten auch geeignet sein, aber ich drucke Fahrzeugteile immer in ABS.

Wichtig ist, dass die Abdeckung unbedingt auf der Seite liegend gedruckt wird, da sonst die Haltenasen aufgrund der mangelnden Schichthaftung zu schnell abbrechen würden. Das macht es notwendig, mit Support zu drucken. Die Füllung sollte für maximale Stabilität 100% betragen.
