Description
This is the model of the Small Wind Turbine from Astroneer.
You will need one 608 skateboard bearing. These are very common and you can get them quite cheap, if you don't have them already: https://amzn.to/3lNMq6x
You will also need three M3 socket head screws and hex nuts. You can use others, but they might not fit as well. Here are the screws I used, and designed this project to fit. I think they match the aesthetic quite well: https://amzn.to/3KkRJ7y
The whole project will use about 125 grams of plastic to print. I recommend 1.2mm of walls and 1mm/3x top/bottom layers, and 20% gyroid infill. The rotor should print as it stands on the shaft, and use supports on it. Brims with a decent XY distance do well for the satellite halves. I painted mine with Caliart Cerulean Blue, but I like it just as much without the paint.
The windmill will actually turn in the wind, but needs pretty strong wind to do so. Conversely, you can also drive with the windows down and hold it out the window to see it turn.
