Description
Edit 02.04.24 - fixed a small issue with the front cage clamp - not overlapping any longer now (if you already printed it, just drill through it). Also some minor fixed on motor clamps
Edit 07.03.24 - i added a mounting system for mounting basically whatever to it (GoPro or other cameras) - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6521580
Edit 01.03.24 - Simple battery mount added. I just use 3-4 of these over the length to accompany all required battery positions.
This is the 10" "Deadcat box" version of the Tubular frame. Codename Goliath. It's a beast ^^ There also is a 6" and 7" version available.
I've been tuning it through black-box, please find my tune in the pictures.
Here is a (boring) video to show you how smooth it flies (without stabilisation of course):

Note: This is a more advanced tubular frame. If this is your first go at one, I personally suggest the TrueX-version first - it's the most easiest to build.
The weight of the frame is around 270g.
All of my tubular designs can be built at home with carbon rods and a 3d-printer. This version here uses 12mm and 10mm carbon rods.
I have 5 designs currently available:
Deadcat - for long-range (+ new subtype "box-style")
WideX - for Freestyle (+ new subtype "box-style")
TrueX - for Racing
More information can be found here on my website.
If you plan on building one or would like to get more info, there is a Discord server dedicated to this frame class. I’m trying to establish this as a general community about tube-based frames. You'll get all the support you need there. I'll do what i can to help you. I can also design custom mounts for you that may not exist yet (for free).
